I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived there until I was 20 years old.  I attended Jefferson Community College where I earned my degree in Criminal Justice.  Upon graduation in 1991, I enlisted in the United States Military.

I served 24 years between two branches of the Armed Forces (7 years Army, 17 years Navy, respectively) and have traveled all over the world.  My job duties have included Admin Officer, Legal Officer, Equal Opportunity Officer, and Recruiter. I lived for extended periods of time in South Korea and the United Kingdom and have visited 20 other countries.

I moved to Nevada upon my retirement from the military and started working for the State of Nevada.  I served as a Compliance Investigator for the Department of Administration and was eventually promoted to HR Manager.  After almost 30 years of State and Federal service, I decided to move back to the private sector in 2022.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, performing stand-up comedy, and just relaxing with my three cats.
