Despite the fact that most meteorologists place little value on a furry marmot’s ability to predict an early spring, the annual tradition of Groundhog Day is still one that millions of people love to celebrate. While I don’t believe the weather can be determined through the expertise of a groundweller, I do have an affinity for Groundhog Day — primarily due to the 1993 film by the same name. Every year on Feb. 2, I think of Bill Murray and his eccentric performance in one my favorite films of all time. For this reason, I decided to make a list of films I think everyone should watch at some point in their lifetime.
