WHY ARE WE SO DOPEY WHEN IT COMES TO LEGALIZED MARIJUANA?
This month, I have something of a “Grinds my Gears” to discuss. It’s leafy and green, and it is a lot more complicated than some people think!In November 2016, Nevada became the fifth state to legalize recreational marijuana. The legal sale of marijuana began in July 2017. Now in the early months of 2018, we have a chance to look back and consider the choices made so far.
The question I’d like to ask is if we’ve somehow forgotten what is important to us in this rush to embrace legalized marijuana. Did we gloss over some of the complications and issues we’re facing now because of the enthusiasm of the novelty in the beginning?
